All Aboard for a ride on Puffing Billy these school holidays!

Loved by generations for over 100 years, Puffing Billy is one of the finest preserved steam railways in the world! The century old steam train is still running on its original 24 kilometre mountain track from Belgrave to Gembrook. Kids and adults alike will love the feeling of the wind in their hair as they wind through the lush rainforest and beautiful fern gullies of the magnificent Dandenong Ranges enjoying the view from the iconic open-sided carriages. Located just one hour east of Melbourne, it makes for the perfect day out for the whole family!

You can choose to start your journey at either Belgrave Station or Lakeside Station (located in Emerald Lake Park). You can view the full timetable here

Trains depart at least four times a day, and run every day of the year except Christmas Day.
